Telefunken ECC801S

Is there a reference 12AT7 tube?  I would say the Telefunken ECC801S is probably the strongest contender. I only have one of these, dated 1965, but Audiophiles seem to concur that it is at the very top of the list of the best sounding 12AT7 of all times, especially for pre-amps and DACS.  What a find http://www.tejastubes.com/telefunken-ecc801s/
